I was just notified that archive.org will not have any issue with 80 GB of uploads. (Thank you hidp123 for the suggestion!)
I will start uploading files this weekend. The entire upload will be broken up into 8 - 10 sets (archive.org restricts to 10 GB at a time).
I may also upload the wiki files for en.wikipedia.org. This should help users set up more quickly.
I will probably not torrent the files. archive.org has their own torrent mechanism, and mine will probably go unused.
I will definitely not use any file lockers. archive.org would be preferable enough that file lockers would go unused.
I think this should be good news for all interested users. Let me know if you have any thoughts on the above.
