I was excited to you implemented the highlight feature.
Today I decided to upgrade to windows_64_v2.6.2.4.exe, but there was two issues.
My setup:
Previous version: 1.12.2.1
Java version 7 Update 51 ( Build 1.7.0_51-b13 )
Windows 7 32bit
After installing I found that the highlight feature did not work at all. Absolutely nothing was highlighted. Not even by old standards.
I thought that there may be an option setting to implement this.
I clicked Options, but the options page opened up in edit mode.
I tried clicking "View HTML" setting, but the page remained unchanged.
Nothing I tried would open the Options page in the HTML format.
Looking forward to the next fix :)

Hi. Thanks for the details. However windows_64_v2.6.2.4.exe was not an official release. I only built it to help troubleshoot another problem.
Please try with xowa_upgrade_windows_v2.6.4.1.exe on https://github.com/gnosygnu/xowa/releases . Note that you should use "xowa_upgrade_windows_v2.6.4.1.exe" not "xowa_upgrade_windows_64_v2.6.4.1.exe" because your Java installation says "Windows 7 32bit".
I tried 2.6.4.1 now for windows and windows_64 and confirmed that both work.

Whoa... I can't believe I installed windows_64 upgrade on windows 32 in error. That was major oversight on my part. Sorry about that.
However I restored my original working Xowa Ver 1.12.2.1 I had backed up, and installed "xowa_upgrade_windows_v2.6.4.1.exe" and found a new error.
The highlight feature worked on wikiversity.org, but if I clicked en.wikipedia.org or simplewiki.org, it came up with blank screen.
For example: The address "simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main Page" was displayed but screen was blank. The tab displayed "Main Page", but nothing else could be seen.
Looking forward to the problem being solved :)

Ok. Thanks for confirming the highlight feature on wikiversity.
As for simple and English, try the app instead of the upgrade: xowa_app_windows_v2.6.4.1.zip . You can install it over your existing version. The upgrade is only good for users upgrading from v2.6.3 and up. You'll need the app since you're upgrading from an old version v1.12.2.
If it still doesn't work, send me the log at home/wiki/Special:XowaSystemData?type=log_session
Hope this helps.

OK I found the reason why some pages open up blank. I think it has something to do with my image setup which worked perfectly in previous version: 1.12.2.1
I spent the whole day trying to fault find with no success, so I decided on a whole new fresh installation using "xowa_app_windows_v2.6.4.1.zip"
I then setup Simple Wikipedia, all went well.
I then setup Images and tested by clicking Gothic architecture, and all went well.
Then I decided to copy all my Simple Wiki images in my previous installation into my new installation in exactly the same format: "C:\Users\William\Xowa\file\simple.wikipedia.org"
I launched Xowa and opened simple.wiki.org, and it was blank, just like I stated in my previous post.

Hi Mr gnosygnu.
Thank you for your quick response.
No, the file "fsdb.atr.00.sqlite3" does not exist in the "file\simple.wikipedia.org\fsdb.main" directory.
I took this matter further and noticed that every module that opened up in blank page, all these modules never had the "fsdb.atr.00.sqlite3" file, and all the modules that had this file worked fine.
It is interesting that this missing file never effected my previous version 1.12.2.1
This means that you introduced the test of this file "fsdb.atr.00.sqlite3" some time after version 1.12.2.1
Hope this helps. I look forward to your next suggestion.

I think I see the problem. I changed the file-naming scheme a while ago from "fsdb.atr#00.sqlite3" to "fsdb.atr.00.sqlite3". Unfortunately, XOWA is looking for "fsdb.atr.00.sqlite3" and you only have "fsdb.atr#00.sqlite3".
I'll fix this in the upcoming version of XOWA this Sunday night. For now, you should be able to work around it by copying your "fsdb.atr#00.sqlite3" and naming the copy "fsdb.atr.00.sqlite3". (Also, you should restore the "wiki.mnt.sqlite3")
In other words, you should have the following files in Xowa\file\simple.wikipedia.org\fsdb.main:
fsdb.abc.sqlite3
fsdb.atr#00.sqlite3
fsdb.atr.00.sqlite3 (This is an exact copy of fsdb.atr#00.sqlite3)
fsdb.bin#0000.sqlite3
fsdb.bin#0001.sqlite3
Finally, I just wanted to touch on this point:
I have just isolated the file causing this problem.
It is "wiki.mnt.sqlite3"
This is not really the cause of the problem. XOWA uses the following logic:
Does "wiki.mnt.sqlite3" exist? If so, the user has v1 image databases (.sqlite3).
If v1 doesn't exist, does "*-file-core.xowa" exist? If so, user has v2 image databases (.xowa).
If v2 doesn't exist, then just download online
So by removing wiki.mnt.sqlite3, XOWA just assumes you don't have v1 installed. Since you don't have v2 downloaded, it just goes directly to downloading them from online.
Keep in mind that your bug was that v1 image databases were there, but it was looking for the wrong core file ("fsdb.atr.00.sqlite3"). Unfortunately, this caused the entire wiki to fail.
Hope this helps.

Hi. I installed the 32 bit version "xowa_app_windows_v2.6.4.5" and proceeded to follow your request, but this is new territory and I am going to need some help here.
For instance I copied and pasted the first url you suggested into the url box, but all I got was a new page with an empty dialog box, and the same happened with the last two url's you suggested.
I'm possibly doing something wrong here.
Could you be more specific what I should be doing, and what I should expect with the first url you suggested, then I should work out the other two easily.
By the way I did try entering "en.wikipedia.org", but had the same problematic result as I posted earlier.

Thanks for the confirm. It should have been there. It's one of the main files for the index database.
When you get a chance, please list all the files in file\simple.wikipedia.org\fsdb.main.
There are 4 files which I copied from my working backup version 1.12.2.1
These 4 files a placed in "Xowa\file\simple.wikipedia.org\fsdb.main"
fsdb.abc.sqlite3
fsdb.atr#00.sqlite3
fsdb.bin#0000.sqlite3
fsdb.bin#0001.sqlite3
I have just isolated the file causing this problem.
It is "wiki.mnt.sqlite3"
When I remove this file from "Xowa\file\simple.wikipedia.org" directory, I am able to open simple.wikipedia.org

Hope this is helpful.
PS: Thanks for introducing me to Google Drive. I had vaguely heard of it before, but I did know the extent of the advantages. After downloading your file, I realized it can be very useful to me.
Thank You! :)

Yup. "app_windows" means 32 bit and "app_windows_64" means 64 bit
Hmm... Unfortunately the log isn't giving me any clues.
I uploaded another debug build here (v2.6.4.5): https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9cb52zjL2rISXRZT01UUmd4YU0/view?usp=sharing
After installing it, please navigate to the following three urls and paste the output here:
This will give me a better idea of what files you have en.wikipedia.org, as well as other metadata
Sorry again about the issues. Thanks.
Cool. Completely accidental on my side, but glad to hear it works for you!
Oops... It appears the Google Drive link you gave me is meant for Windows 64, so I never downloaded it.
Oops. Sorry. Here goes the regular 32-bit one: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9cb52zjL2rIZ3pTZlI1RnltU1k/view?usp=sharing
William
Hmm... The urls should open up to pages.
Do you want to try IRC? http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#xowa I'll be online for half an hour.
Thanks.
Actually, I see the issue. The code assumes the wiki will load, and in your case, it doesn't
Try the following:
OK I found the problem. Not a good idea to copy and paste, because it does not paste the true URL. So here goes in the order you requested.
