I know it sounds stupid, but more than half of the people who send me e-mail via the sourceforge.net user-to-user e-mail feature have invalid addresses (in the sense that writing to firstname.lastname@example.org bounces).
This week I've already wasted two hours this way. I have little spare time, and those two hours are time I could have spent doing actual work (the kind that I'm paid to do). Right now I'm feeling a lot less motivated to help people out. If most of the time that I spend 30 minutes composing a reply I just end up finding out that there's no way to get it through to the person who wrote to me, I may decide not to reply to e-mail anymore.
So: IF YOU E-MAIL ME, PLEASE PROVIDE A VALID RETURN ADDRESS.
By the way: wg0, whoever you are, you're one of the people concerned.
