Xortify.com has SSL Signing for the next 5 years! Some of the scripts in the later version automatically change your path to https:// in some of the earlier version of the xortify client for XOOPS you will have to do this manually!

This is for the API ports, you will be able to change this in the preferences of the module and this will allow secure communication with the service; there will be a release today of the xortify.com client for XOOPS that will only have this minor change in it as it has reach the term of Software Development Life-cycle for the CMS.

We would like to welcome Islam Bahnasy to the Honeypot projects Xortify. He is a skilled PHP developer and comes from the arabic nations of the world. He approached us a number of months ago and due to an accident was unable to contact reply us.

Just today he has provided his Sourceforge Username and has been added to the Developer Group of Xortify the PHP Sentry and Honeypot!

I would like to extend a sincere thanks and welcome to the project and hope we have a fruitful exchange of ideas and correspondence as well as code!

Caleb Breckon is a PHP developer with a lot of previous database experience as well. His username is 'cbreckon' on sourceforge. Id like to welcome as the project admin Caleb to the project. This is a mature product, that I have personally developed up to series 4.xx before i have decided to branch it out to it's own Sourceforge project as well as having a XOOPS Clients for the cloud we need Drupal, Joomla, Zend, CakePHP, NewBB and many other platforms inclusive of Wordpress to have a plugin written for the cloud!... read more

For a number of years Xortify the Sentry Honeypot has been worked on by Simon Roberts of Chronolabs Cooperative. Recently the hosting of the Honeypot was sponsored by http://ArckCloud.com (Arck Interactive). They provided the necessary server resources for the http://xortify.com sentry which is written in PHP and uses a MySQL Database. Xortify 4.15 for XOOPS 2.5 & 2.6

There was notably a problem with form submission in 4.14 version. This has been rectified in 4.15 remember to code into your form a way of submitting training documents etc. We are still looking for a complete reference to swear words in all languages in data form to enable adult mode in the check of spam.

Xortify is coming to Windows Azure Marketplace

Xortify is coming to Windows Azure Marketplace which means a wider birth of coverage is coming to the API selections on Azure. We still have some adjustments to make to the code to enable the honeypot on Azure but it is found on the URI of http://azure.xortify.com.

This instead of a Username and Password authenticates with the Application API Key provided by the marketplace, this is put where username and password is specified on the API Calls to Xortify.... read more

Xortify.com Server Migration

2nd August 2013 between 11PM & 4AM AEST GMT+10 Xortify.com will be migrated!

The Xortify.com Server will be offline on 2nd of August 2013 between 11PM & 4AM AEST GMT+10 Sydney time. We are migrating to a dedicated machine provider by the good people at Arck Interactive http://arckinteractive.com who are sponsoring the service for people running XOOPS as well as other platforms using the standalone PHP Framework.... read more

Xortify 4.11 for XOOPS 2.5 & 2.6

A new version of Xortify is available this is the Major Revision number of Four, the version is 4.11 for XOOPS 2.5 & XOOPS 2.6. We had originally hosted the Xortify cloud on TPP Internets Cloud; but they were asking for a high price for running the cloud in the next year due to data traffic; so I approached both Amazon and a couple of other companies for sponsorship and luckily Arck Interactive offered us an Ubuntu 12 Service on a Dedicated machine in exchange for Banner placement on Xortify.com... read more

Well for the last 2 months xortify.com has been running from my services here in my own home. After completing the first Years trial to measure data tariffs; the data throughput is quiet high for a small application that makes up the Xortify Cloud Services.

IT will not be errantly running on my local home services, we have approached ArckInteractive who offer managed VPS and Dedicated Services and they have agreed to sponsor Xortify.com on an Ubuntu 12.xx Server dedicated for the XOOPS and larger community.... read more
