Initial Comment:
Current File Uploader, Image Manager and all tools implemented for manipulating with files from within XOOPS are obsolete, the're not changed from xoops 1.3. All those tools to be united in one and to be pointed to exTplorer (http://extplorer.sourceforge.net/), easy to use, secure File Management tool, used already in Joomla!, or http://ajaxplorer.info/ (something to show that XOOPS is really evolving and moving forward).
