#195 Duplicate Group Permissions

Hallo Skalpa!

Giving some more thoughts on permission of the CORE
feature in connection to the earlier thread, I think it
would be really better to develop Permissions and
blocks that will start differing with all other CMS and
frameworks.

I would suggest to have permission templates (which we
discussed earlier) and duplication feature in the CORE
permissions.

This GROUP PERMISSION DUPLICATION OR COPY feature will
help emense. The entire group and the following what is
available to a group could be copied.

For e.g.

If I would copy the group, all the permissions that the
GROUP HAS in regards to the modules, i.e. it should
know which modules offer permissions to that group
rather than the logic "Permission within the Module".

Like I described my concept of a TREE, root
permissions, trunk , branch, and leaf permissions in
the tree structure, hier in this feature, I would be
copying a branch or trunk permissions to a group or
even duplicatting a group!

Hence, if I have a member and user group differing in
some monor rights for modules and blocks, then
duplicating the group of members and renaming into
editors would help to transport the permissions
flawlessly and adding some more rights to them.

They could also be copied further and renamed to
Sub-admin permissions adding some editing and deleting
rights through a template.

I was facing problems as I did not do correct in one
group and one user came to me shouting! Hence the idea
emerged!!!
