Reinstalling modules - table problems

    I installed, uninstalled a couple of modules. In trying to reinstall them, I get a message that a certain table already exists.

    I deleted all the files as well as the Xoops installation process.

    Where are these 'atbles' and how do I get rid of them?

    Any help is appreciated.

      how exactly did you uninstall the modules? Did you deactivate them first in the modules admin page, and then uninstalled them via that same page? Or did you just remove the files and that was it? If it is the latter, then you forgot about the essential part: the database. That's where the 'tables' are, they're database tables.

      Best way to fix this is to reupload the module files, thus (temporarily) restoring the modules. Then, use the proper uninstall method:
      - deavtivate modules using the 'deactivate' button on the modules admin page (system admin -> modules in XOOPS 2.0.x);
      - click the 'uninstall' button in the same page
      - remove the files.
