The rootless mode is great / fantastic / wonderful ! :) For normal use this is just what I needed - oh, and when others see Classic, Aqua and X all running together you can see them go green :)

However, one thing is a little confusing / annoying. Most window managers have the option to bring up menus by [left|middle|right] clicking on the root window. This usually works in rootless mode if you are working in the XDarwin app but sometimes you get the apple Finder menu as well. Further, you have to switch to XDarwin to use the menus if you are using an Aqua or Classic app.

I suggest a small patch of the root in a window - maybe in the top right hand corner or something - that you can use to bring up menus any time, every time without Apple menus also appearing. It is also a good way to switch back to X if no windows are visible as well :)
