After the first switch between XDarwin and XAqua,
the mouse pointer is invisible until the mouse
button is clicked.

A side effect of this behavior is that when the
mouse button is clicked to reveal the pointer,
XDarwin is no longer the forward application, and
its menus are not available. Can't access
preferences, etc without guessing where the
pointer is.

Thanks for the great work

This appears to be a new bug with Mac OS X 10.0.2. If you switch into X by clicking on the XDarwin icon, you get the missing cursor when you switch back to Aqua. If you instead switch to X by using Command-Option-A (It works both ways as long as XDarwin is the foreground application.) you still will have a cursor when you switch back to Aqua. Of course this isn't so useful as a work around, but is interesting for tracking down this bug.

If one uses the trick of entering XWIndows via cmd-opt-
a, then indeed the cursor is present on exit, but cmd-
tab to cycle through apps seems not to work.

    Anyone else noticed this?

Keep up the great, great work on this app!

A solution for this problem is provided in XAqua0.6. By default we no longer switch from the Dock. You can reenable Dock switching from the Preferences and 0.6 tries to do a better job of it, but this appears to be a Dock related bug with no full proof workaround.
