Most of the time I write some text which I finally copy 'npaste into some web-form field. The main reason why I don't type directly is more that a refresh might loose all typed text - or any other problems with the website.

Is there a chance to autosave the just typed in text? (Instead of specifying a file.) Would be great after a new start XNedit could check if there exists already unsaved files and restore them.

The path where to save it automatically? Honestly I don#t care much. Would be great to simply enable/disable it.

The feature would be great as well for existing files (i.e. when I have already specified a file name).

Sounds similar to notepad++ behavior and I already thought about implementing something like that. I will try to add this to the next release.
