2.5: Freezes / GUI left unusable

I find that, after about 24 hours of usage, Xnap 2.51 will
hang, where it displays simply a blank grey window
background and right-clicking within the application
window's space yields nothing.
At this point, the program must be terminated from the
Windows XP Task Manager, then re-run.
Is this being fixed ?

Your bug report has been reviewed by our development team and
we consider it to be fixed in the XNap 3 release branch. The
status of this bug report has been set to pending.
The bug is due to the insufficent architecture of XNap v2 and will
not be fixed in future 2.x releases. XNap v3 is a complete redesign
focused on addressing these issues.
Please try the latest 3.x beta release and open a new bug report
if the problem persists in that version. (You can use XNap 2.X and
3.X in parallel.) Once the first stable release of XNap v3
(3.0-pre1) becomes available, the support of the XNap 2.x release
branch will be discontinued and this report will be closed.
Thank you for supporting the development of XNap.

I tried downloading version 3
xnap-3.0-beta6-installer.exe
from the page
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/xnap/xnap-3.0-beta6-
installer.exe?download
and have found for the past 16 hours that the Internet
Explorer 6 error
HTTP 404 - File not found
From the same XNap browser page
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=9285
I tried again to download version 2.51 and this succeeded
again. Thus, there is a current problem specific only to the
version 3 Installer files.
Any other methods to download the version 3 Installer file ?

-beta6 was released very recently and obviously hasn't made
its way to all sourceforge mirrors yet. The belnet mirror for
instance works, here's the direct link:

Cheers,
Yven

I find that this Hang problem is Not fixed in the 3 version.
This Hanging seems to be related to the number of
outstanding Download requests pending. After about 3 weeks
usage, there are probably 1,000s of download requests
pending. I think that the program is simply too slow to handle
the demands of this kind of normal usage.
