I don't see what advantage moving to jabberstudio gives? Can you expand what the advantages are?

As to the sematics in style, all the code looks ok to me in the SF cvs under the xmppd directory. There again I am used to the style used by Alexey now. 

Certainly from my perspective what would be useful is a hint on what should be documented and not how.

Indeed you are right about documentation, and as it concerns you, does that offer of help extend to helping get the documentation in order for the prior art? (*cheeky grin*)
