#55 German translation limited to Germany
The German translation is only for the locale "de_DE" which unnecessarily restricts the translation to Germany. There are other parts of the world speaking German (Switzerland, Austria, ...). I am using the locale de_CH.UTF-8 and X-Moto speaks English to me. It would be better to use the more generic locale "de" for X-Moto. In addition to that I would even create a locale for "de_CH" because in Switzerland they do not use the character "ß" but always "ss".

Another strange thing:
Running xmoto with strace showed me that it is looking under "/usr/lib/locale/" for the translations, but "make install" actually copied the files to "/usr/local/share/locale".
