Othello and Rian gave me a hint that the rateplug-0.4.2 package is broken.
To my regret my laptop is fucked up (broken display). Hence it could take some time until i will fix this error. So please use cvs for the present.
If you're using gcc2.9x download rateplug-0.4.1.tar.gz

The development is paused until 05.03.02. All project members have to learn for oral examinations. :(
A new release is out now. We fixed the memory leak bug, the gcc>2.95 bug and some smaller ones. Added a VERY professional ./configure.
!!Highly recommed!!
We added a nice configure script (after all ;)
I think this doesn't justify a new release (the ./configure isn't perfect until now). But we're going to be really professional...
After the last two faulty releases (0.3.7, 0.3.8) which are very "$$%&/ code (dirt, fast progaming, insufficient tests) here's a new one(0.3.9). I'm so convicing of it that i marked it as unstable (instead of testing) right from the beginning ;)
All known bugs are fixed.
I noticed a memory leak bug. If you're running this plugin your memory will be filled sooner or later with useless stuff. I'm working at full blast to solve this problem.
But as it seems it's a bug in Xmms.
Between 06.01.02(18:58) and 07.01.02(14:20) there was uploaded a wrong file(rateplug-0.3.8.tar.gz). I've corrected this. Please download again.
