Hello, I tried installing xmms-e_0.00005-1_arm.ipk on OZ3.1rc2. The dependencies it require are: qpe-base, libmad0, libvorbisidec1. I am not able to find these libs anywhere. If I "force" the install, xmms does not work. Clicking the xmms icon brings up the GUI (cool one at that), select a file (mp3), and nothing happes - no sound, no activity. The selected file doesn't even show in the GUI. I did notice that the CPU is at about 20% for the duration during which xmms is running. And there are about 5 processes named xmms. I am able to play that very same mp3 file with mplayer (from the command line). But if I change the volume in between playback, the sound starts to break. Any odeas how to install xmms ? Or libmad0 installation was not perfect. bye Denes |

I was looking at the stable feed only. Now the CPU consumption has also gone down. its about 7%, I would guess. > > I am able to play that very same mp3 file with > mplayer > > (from the command line). I really appreciate it. ===== Ajay Gautam Registered Linux User #252843 http://counter.li.org Tired of unwanted pop-up ads, try http://www.mozilla.org http://ajaygautam.tripod.com/ __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
