First of all if xmms is already runnable, run
xmms > /mnt/ram/xmms.stdout 2> xmms.stderr
or something equivalent, and send those files here.
That dependancy is indeed there in the oz feed - you
could try downloading the ipks, and install them from commandline.
I am sure it will be worth all the effort :)
