Only way is to edit ~/.xmms/config .

This happening at the beginning is known, and I think it is somehow inherent
to mplayer's av-sync code, on such a not so fast cpu. Needs investigation 
though. 
If you could send me a movie that does this for a very long time, that would 
be good.
