Than it's kind of interesting, as it should not be opening /dev/dsp1 (afaik
only xmms-e does that). Maybe it does, you can check with fuser /dev/dsp1
perhaps - actually you can check that any time sound is broken, to see if
/dev/dsp1 is the cause, or something else not yet known.
