I'm doing a quick and dirty VB program to read the Med's mysql backend database and shoot .NFO files into the library directories to override the default IMDB Matching. Med's is not reading the text file and autopicking the right IMDB url. Is there a specific format I have to put the IMDB url in, e.g. "IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/ttblah" or use XML tags on it? Is there a specific naming convention I have to use for the filename or can I merely use the format IMDBNUMBER.NFO? Is it case sensitive?
