I would like to be able to set different foreign language titles as main title.
But as I have a number of English and a number of German movies, changing the preferences "Replace each title with AKA title" each time is pretty timeconsuming.
So I would like to see the following feature:
When I use "Get IMDb Info", I'd like to have a 4th button "Select with AKA title":
[ More titles ] [ Select ] [ Select AKA title ] [ Cancel ].
When I use this new button, a new list box should open (similar to when selecting an Episode from a Season), but this time with all of the available AKA titles shown.
In this box, I can [ Select ] the title I want as Main title. If possible, it would be great if the "Language" field would now also be set to the language I chose and thus overwrite the "default" languages as stated in IMDb.
Thanks,
Matthias
PS: I know this is not possible for the "Update IMDb" procedure, but this doesn't matter - when updating, it would be enough just to unmark the "Update Title" field.

In Germany, all movies (except some special off-mainstream ones) are dubbed.
So, if there is a German title, there is a German dub. AFAIK, this is also true for France.
Unfortunately, about 30-40% of the dubs are not very good, but half of my friends still prefer to watch the German dub for comprehension reasons.
If the movie was not dubbed, I would just keep the original titel, as it is implemented now with [ Select ].

And if it is a DVD or dual audio movie, I would add the additional languages manually.
Having one/two or max. three audio languages is much more common than having all of the translated languages (from IMDb) on a single DVD.
And if I have the moviel several times in different "editions" (e.g. avi & DVD), I would use 2 separate entries to keep the Additional ExtraInfo apart.

Hi
This is a good idea.
Though overwriting the Language field is only for those who watch dubbed movies.
