I love this program. I have a zillion movies so its great. Anyway, perhaps I'm slightly slow or whatever but is there a way to move my movie list from the old version to the new one? Thanks!

To open the old database you need to press File and chose open. Then navigate to the old database file and it should be up running.
If you are unsure of where the old database file is placed, open the config.ini file in the old install and read the path.
