Hi,

Is there any way to use xsl:value-of to get a complete
node and descendants. At the moment all child nodes
are stripped off and only the text, if any, of the node is
returned.

For example, I want to use <xsl:variable name="meta"
select="*/meta" /> which should return
<meta><title>TITLE</title><creator>ABC</creator></me
ta> At the moment it returns nothing because it stripps
off <title> and <creator>. I have also tried Axes like
*/meta/descendants::* but it also only returns an
empty tag.

Thanks,

Paul

    Unfortunately both value-of and variable will only properly
    get text nodes - this is because the full specification as
    regards those directives is not implemented.

    THis functionality will be added to the todo list for the
    next release.
