Category: None Group: None >Status: Pending >Resolution: Wont Fix Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Keegan Carruthers-Smith (kcsmith) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: tv_grab_za generating incorrect dates Initial Comment: I am using mtvg and it couldnt parse the dates correctly. I looked at an example tv listing generated by xmltv and noted that the date generated by tv_grab_za in version 0.5.50 is to short. I did this quick hack to make it work which just pads the date with "00". ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Robert Eden (rmeden) Date: 2008-01-23 09:53 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=270469 Originator: NO Your application is wrong. per the XMLTV DTD All dates and times in this DTD follow the same format, loosely based on ISO 8601. They can be 'YYYYMMDDhhmmss' or some initial substring, for example if you only know the year and month you can have 'YYYYMM'. You can also append a timezone to the end; if no explicit timezone is given, UTC is assumed. Examples: '200007281733 BST', '200209', '19880523083000 +0300'. (BST == +0100.) So, a shortend date *is* valid... and actually more correct if the seconds aren't known. mtvg can't read a valid XMLTV file and should be fixed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=424137&aid=1878122&group_id=39046 |
