usually EPG applications try to match the programs by name, which often fails by slight differences in naming. In Digital Video Broadcasting used in Europe, a program can be identified uniquely by the tupel of the globally unique Operator Network IDentifier (ONID, 16 bit) and the per operator unique Service IDentifier (SID, 16 bit).
So I suggest to define channel attributes for DVB-ONID and DVB-SID in the DTD.
That way TV applications can extract ONID and SID from the DVB stream and lookup the correct channel and EPG information without mismatches.
