Downloadxmltask provides the facility for automatically editing XML files as part of an Ant build. Unlike the standard filter task provided with Ant, it is XML-sensitive, but doesn't require you to define XSLTs.

There seems to be an issue with the insert tag of xmltask. The insert tag does not close the file after it reads input from a file. This is preventing my ant script from deleting the file after xmltask has completed processing. Hope to see a fix for this issue. How can i submit a bug request?

I nice tool for me for many years. All my Build Tools use XmlTask
