Has anyone attempted to add gzip support for the HTTP transport layer?
Also, does anyone know whether the admin still adds patches to this project or whether there will be new releases? It's been a long time since any updates and I know there have been some major patches people have done (SSL, multithreading).
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
I haven't seen any "official" activity on this project in years. Perhaps someone could be motivated to "take over" this inactive project, apply the outstanding patches, and do another release?
I am currently trying to provide some support for this project, but you both are right, there were no development activities since the middle-age (almost).
If you have any experience using the xmlrpc-c library (impression, usability, size, performance, etc.), please, write them here as information to other developers looking for XML RPC libraries.
