[Xmlrpc-developers] SimpleXmlRpcClient

Hi, noob question...

Is there an equivalent in SimpleSmlRpcClient to the non-Simple  
XmlRpcClient method setBasicAuthentication,  which looks necessary  
for serious eXist xmlrpc manipulation? And what about setEncoding?
