[Xmlrpc-users] encryption and compression

Hi!
 
I want to encrypt and compress all communications between the XML-RPC client
and the server.
I assume that can be done using a custom pre/post-processor.
 
Are there any implementations ready to use?
 
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
