For xmlroff, you don't need to read up on GNOME, just on GLib and GObject. xmlroff doesn't have a GUI, so it doesn't extend to the level of needing GNOME libraries. AFAIK, Dave Malcolm's Conglomerate is the only project to moot a GUI for xmlroff. As to where to help, the field is wide open. The next things that I will be working on are recognising X colour names, getting graphics to work again, and region-before and region-after. I actually have this weekend off just to work on xmlroff. I now have to wonder whether I should work on code or documentation. Regards, Tony. |
