I had forgotten about the pserver CVS access delay.  What a pain.
Can't you get at it by non-anonymous, cvs-over-ssh access?

Yes, dynamic linking.

Thanks for reporting the problem.  The next step will be to tidy up
the stuff that I just commented out and to make a new PangoPDF
release.
