I'd suggest using DocBook and Norm Walsh's stylesheets for articles and books. See http://sourceforge.net/projects/docbook/. Various people have published stylesheets for XHTML as well. There's undoubtedly also stylesheets for formatting TEI (Text Encoding Initiative) documents. My question is, are you suggesting this as useful for xmlroff or for XSL in general?
