#132 Hyperlinks in PDF version, and a suggestion for TXT,RTF

It would be useful for the PDF version to also preserve
the URLs and Links like the HTML version.

Besides being a good format for printing on paper, PDF
is also useful as a format for viewing on a computer. The
PDF format does support hyperlinks.

In addition, the RTF and Plain Text formats should have
an option to put all links at the end of the resume or at
bottom of the same page as a footnote. The goal is to
preserve as much content and meta data (both header
meta data and inline meta data) across different file
formats as possible.

For example:

Came up with idea for and lead development of <link
href="http://www.cofax.org/">Cofax</link>, a content
management and publishing system.
---

Preserves the link in the HTML version, but the link is
lost in the RTF and TXT versions.

Maybe the text/RTF version could render as:

---
Came up with idea for and lead development of Cofax
(link1 below), a content management and publishing
system.

...
Links:
Cofax http://www.cofax.org/
---

Since some folks may not want this feature, it should
be optional.

Many employers still read printouts of resumes on paper, even
when they are sitting next to a computer.

Besides having an option of making the hyperlinks print as
footnotes in the Word DOC and PDF formats, another option
should be to display them in paranthesis after the words. This
option should be avialable in the plain text output as well.

E.g. ... Created the open source product, Cofax (www.cofax.org)
while ...

Having URLs adds credibility to the items and may interest the
person reading the resume to visit those links when online. All
that will keep the person's resume on the employer's mind.
