GenMAPP Builder 2.0 Beta 66 has been released. This release of GenMAPP Builder includes an important fix in the implementation of multi-species Gene Database exports and improvements on how the species name is determined and assigned. The taxon ID for the Saccharomyces cerevisiae species profile was also changed to 559292.

GenMAPP Builder 2.0b65 has been released. This release of GenMAPP Builder includes a preliminary implementation of multi-species Gene Database exports, as well as user interface changes to the export wizard. This version also updates the Gene Ontology database library to accommodate the latest elements included in GO OBO XML downloads.

This release of GenMAPP Builder changes the Backpage link out for OrderedLocusNames
for Mycobaterium smegmatis

This release of GenMAPP Builder adds species profiles for Helicobacter pylori, Mycobaterium smegmatis, and Salmonella typhimurium. The Tally Engine has also been reconfigured to include Ordered Locus Names as one of its default counts.

GenMAPP Builder 2.0 Beta 59 has been released. This release of GenMAPP Builder adds a descriptive error message when attempting to export to a GenMAPP database when running GenMAPP Builder in 64-bit Java.

GenMAPP Builder 2.0 Beta 58 has been released. This release of GenMAPP Builder fixes an issue encountered with 64-bit Java runtime environments, previously identified as a Windows 7 issue. To avoid the error, when exporting to a GenMAPP database, have a 32-bit Java runtime environment installed and start GenMAPP Builder using gmbuilder-32bit.bat.

GenMAPP Builder 2.0 Beta 57 has been released. This release of GenMAPP Builder fixes a regular expression syntax error encountered with the previous Windows 7 fix attempt.

GenMAPP Builder 2.0 Beta 54 has been released. This release of GenMAPP Builder attempts another potential fix to allow Access database connection in Windows 7.

GenMAPP Builder 2.0 Beta 53 has been released. This release of GenMAPP Builder implements some Tally Engine customizations for M. tuberculosis, including removal of ORF tallies and filtering of database tallies to IDs beginning with Rv only. The XML tally function does not currently support selective text filtering, so is currently not included yet. Thus, the XML tally function still reports all "ordered locus" IDs for M. tuberculosis, and not just those beginning with Rv.

GenMAPP Builder 2.0b51 has been released. This release implements customizations for M. tuberculosis and changes the default UniProt species profile behavior to use just "ordered locus" records for gene IDs.

XMLPipeDB Utilities 2.3 has been released. This release of XMLPipeDB Utilities further streamlines and improves various user interface elements and behaviors in the library, such as:

- A consistent, properly threaded progress bar for imports and other lengthy operations

- More detailed instructions for advanced database configuration

- Continuing externalization of strings

GenMAPP Builder 2.0b49 has been released. This release of GenMAPP Builder continues work on the new custom database configuration user interface system, externalizes virtually all user interface resource strings, and makes several corrections to them.

GenMAPP Builder 2.0 Beta 44 has been released. This release addresses the possible presence of a version identifier such as "!gaf-version: 2.0" at the beginning of a GOA file.
