So I got distracted for a couple of days while I tried to figure out 
why I could build the CVS version on my Linux box...  figured that 
out... and got in a patch to make the plugin run under 1.3.1 
(replaceAll was the problem)...  Eclipse on Linux on KDE 3.1, 
woohoo!! oops got carried away for a sec...  there's a 1.3.1 patched 
version on the Wiki.   

So, back to the original topic...  We gonna do a zip release or at 
least change it to say go use the Updater in the Download section on 
SF?
