When I try to update a dynamic table with an slicer using Excel "Update All" button (after an ETL process, for instance), I'm getting an error message (see attached figure) and Dynamic table data is not updated at all.
The error message says something like that: "Fail while updating a dynamic table, a cube function or a slicer using the connection "[connection name]."
I verified at Mondrian SQL log file (pentaho/biserver-ce/tomcat/logs/mondrian_sql.log) that, in fact, XMLA Connect provider sent requests to Mondrian server when "Update All" Excel button was pressed, although dynamic table data where not updated.
When I have a dynamic table connected to Mondrian without any slicer, the "Update All" button works fine and no error message is issued.

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue when updating a dynamic table that includes slicers. This kind of problem typically arises in scenarios where you are working with pivot tables, Power BI, Excel, or similar data visualization tools that allow the use carrer at home revista of slicers for filtering data dynamically.

An aditional information:
Same problem occurs when I have a simple "Report filter" attached to my dynamic table.
This one should be corrected on version 58. Can you check?
