I recently started a job at a startup where everyone uses custom avatars on Slack instead of real headshots. I’ve been using a my melody pfp because it makes me smile during long meetings, but I’m starting to wonder if it makes me look less authoritative during project handovers.
The company culture is very relaxed, but I still worry about the subconscious bias people might have toward a "cute" image. Should I swap it for something more "boring," or is it perfectly fine to keep my beloved my melody pfp?
Thanks in advance.
