In the xsd I'm using, the element names contain underscores. XML copy editor removes these underscores and interprets the seperate words as element names, making the editor's insert help function useless. Is there some way around this issue? I'd really like to provide my users with a simple xml editor and xml copy editor is the best candidate so far.

Sorry about this - my other projects leave very little maintenance time for xmlce right now, but I'm hoping to release a 2011 update in the not too distant future. (Oddly I hadn't come across underscores in element names before – most vocabularies seem to use initial caps/camel case/hyphenated.)
I'm afraid I can't give a fixed ETA right now though.
Best,
Gerald

Great to hear there will be a fix even without an ETA. That's already more than I hoped for. We'll use an alternative in the meantime, but I'll be keeping an eye on xmlce's sourceforge page!
Thanks,
Peter
