Hi,
I have tried XML Copy Editor 1.2.0.2 for Windows and I have installed GNU Aspell for Windows:
english and italian dictionary.
Then I have open a XML file (sample.xml) and pressed F7: a message appears
(No dictionaries found)
I have tried in various mode (Aspell folder in C:\Programs or inside 'XML Copy Editor' folder).
XML Copy Editor won't recognize GNU Aspell for Windows.
Any idea ?
Thanks

Renzo, thanks for getting back to me. I think the problem is likely to be that Windows has different installation paths for different locales.
Aspell definitely works in English-language locales (the app ships with the English dictionary collection as a default).
I need to look into this but I can't promise a quick fix: the header file aspellpaths.h currently defines the path as C:\Program Files\... etc. on Windows and I need to take the application directory (which can be set under Tools>Options) as the base path for this.
It's an oversight and I'm hoping to remedy it as soon as possible.
Best,
Gerald

I don't know if that can help You...
Notepad++ work with Aspell (already installed as XML Copy Editor) and it use a plug-in (SpellChecker plug-in).
This plug-in has been developed from Jens Lorenz (jenslorenz at users.sourceforge.net). This plug-in work with Windows XP italian default (and, I think, with all Windows localizations) and it work with relative path .... (so it is full portable).
Maybe, if this can help You, You can browse SplellChecker source http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=189927&package_id=225043
Best regards

Hi rbon_it, sorry about the delay. I can't seem to reproduce the problem. Which language does your installation of Windows default to?
