    Hi,

I have recently installed XML Copy editor and it seems to be exactly the kind if ligthweigth, fast xml text editor I was looking for. I do have a small question which may seem a bit weird and simple. How do I select the auto complete??

When I write a new XSD tag the editor pops-up the auto complete (like I would expect). I can use the arrows (up/down) to scrool in the list. But if I want to insert the selected text in the document, the only solution I found is to use the mouse to click on it. I tried pressing enter, space, right arrow, etc. No success.

What would be the appropriate key?? I am using the application on Windows 2000.

    Thank you for the help.

Thanks for your message! The key is Tab.

Which key would you expect it to be? Would you like to be able to select an autocomplete entry by pressing enter? (Tab is Scintilla's default behaviour, but it wouldn't take long to make enter do the same.)

      Actually, tab makes perfect sense.

But enter is the default for code completion in both Eclipse and visual studio. If your editor could support both the tab and enter key, it would definatly help people who is used to other code editors make the transition smoothly.

Thank you for the quick answer and keep up the good work

As of 1.0.7.1, Tab, enter and cursor right all select the current autocomplete string.
