#78 Translation of shift keys not working
Using Windows XP SP2.
In the Khmer translation of Firefox (called Mekhala), the shortcut keys Ctrl, Alt and Shift are translated and appear in the menus in Khmer.
I'll upload a screen capture showing the Edit menu, where the Cut command is shown as "[kat] [bañjie]+Z"
In Mekhala, pressing Ctrl+X will cut the selected text; the control key works as expected.
In translating XMLCE, I replaced Ctrl with the Khmer word (pronounced bañjie).
None of the keyboard shortcuts work in which "Ctrl" has been replaced by the Khmer word.
(Note: The screen capture I made is from a special version that contains pronunciation as well as the Khmer [the better for me to learn it].) Commands where Ctrl was left in place work fine.
I'll see if the Firefox translators made some alteration to the program to accept [bañjie] for "Ctrl" (and others for Alt and Shift).
What happens with the other languages?
But shouldn't the program accept these translations in shortcut keys?

PS: You can see too that the font used for menus differs -- in Mekhala, the same font is used for menu and command names, as set in the Advanced features of Display Settings. In XMLCE, the command names are using the font specified, but the menu names are not -- they are using Tahoma 8 pt, I believe, or possible Microsoft Sans Serif 8 pt.
