Summary:
Xml copy editor for Windows keeps settings in application folder(it shows message could not gain write access to application folder), but access to this folder usually have only administrators and power users

Issue Behaviour:
Keeping options in "c:\Program files\xmlcopyeditor" is uncomfortanle

Expected Behaviour:
To store settings in "%userprofile%\Applicatio Data\xmlcopyeditor"

    Thanks Siarhei, I need to check this. On my computer settings are stored in the home directory (which while probably not ideal is a lot better than C:\Program Files\XML Copy Editor\, as you suggest).

    On XP in the en-uk locale, for example. .xmlcopyeditor is stored in:

    C:\Documents and Settings\[login]\.xmlcopyeditor

    I'm not sure how the configuration files came to be stored in C:\Program Files on your computer.

    Hi

    when i'm working with Xml copy editor as limited user account xml copy editor faills to save settings and show message box. So i think it tries to save them in c:\program files\xml copy editor dir
