I tried to run your project using main.cpp but it is showing error on multiple sheets. Single sheet is successfully created.
Problem arises when no of sheets increase.
Whenever there are two or more sheets I used to get following error while opening xls file.
"Unable to Read file"
Error log description is given below:
Microsoft Office Excel File Repair Log
Errors were detected in file 'D:\Personal\rav\research\xlsLib\stress.xls'
The following is a list of repairs:
Damage to the file was so extensive that repairs were not possible. Excel attempted to recover your formulas and values, but some data may have been lost or corrupted.
I am unable to get the problem & also the list of repairs is empty.

This problem will be addressed in release 1.2.5, due shortly (mid to late December).

PS: next time file a "Bug" report and I'll see it sooner.
