Dear developers of XLD,

After downloading the latest Version of XLD (20230416) to my new MacBook (M2, Ventura 13.2.1) I wanted to start it. BUT:

„XLD“ kann nicht geöffnet werden, da Apple darin nicht nach Schadsoftware suchen kann.
Diese Software muss aktualisiert werden. Wende dich an den Entwickler, um weitere Informationen zu erhalten.

„XLD“ can not be opened, because Apple is not enabled to search for malware within.
This software must be replaced by an actual version. Call developers for more information

So I do. Please help

Since XLD isn't signed with a paid developer ID, OS puts warnings when you run the app for the first time. Please follow the instruction ("If you want to open an app that hasn't been notarized or is from an unidentified developer" section):
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202491

Or simply right-click the app icon and choose Open will do the same thing.
