After installing the latest XLD Version (xld-20220910) I am experiencing constant crashes and I am not able to rip any CD.

System:
Model Name: MacBook Pro (2018)
Model Identifier: MacBookPro15,1
Processor Name: 6-Core Intel Core i9
Processor Speed: 2,9 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 6
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 12 MB
Hyper-Threading Technology: Enabled
Memory: 32 GB
System Firmware Version: 1731.140.2.0.0 (iBridge: 19.16.16066.0.0,0)
OS Loader Version: 540.120.3~19

What did I do?
Inserted CD in external CD/BluRay Disk Player

Expected outcome:
XLD should read CD, ask for correct metadata (if multiple matches), start ripping and writing ripped FLACs to externa HDD.

What really happens:
Step 1; XLD runs multiple pregap checks
Step 2: XLD throws error, that disk is not accessible
Step 3: I acknowledge error by clicking OK
(Steps 1 to 3 happen multiple times)
Step 4: XLD starts ripping
Step:5 XLD looks for pregap Information multiple times
Step 6: XLD throws error, that disk is not accessible
Step 7: I acknowledge error by clicking OK
Step 8: XLD shows same CD several times in sidebar
(Steps 5 to 8 happen multiple times)
Step 10 XLD eventually crashes

remarks
I have ripped over 600 CDs in the last days before the update without major problems.

I will try to roll back to version xld-20211018 and try, if it solves my problem.

    Maybe similar issue as #564?

    The comment says:

I solved this problem myself this morning. Under security and privacy, navigate to Files and Folders. XLD will appear in the list. Check "allow access to removable volumes." The app now works like a charm.

I do not think so. I just tried "Files & Foldes / Access Remote Deisks" and "Full Disk Access" for XLD and the behaviour described in the ticket did noch change.

Seems to be a HW problem. I tested another CD drive (CD drive2), which worked totally fine with CDs that threw all those XLD errors I mentioned when trying to rip them in CD drive 1.

After I switched CD drive 1 to the same powered USB hub I used with drive 2, everything worked smooth again. Sorry for bothering you with a problem, that was not your softwares fault.
