#550 Mp3 Conversion: Error has occured in the decoder

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Select mp3 audio file from mounted cifs/smb share or form local drive from the File->Open menu

How about the reproducibility (always, sometimes, rarely, ...)?
Always. I switched from 2020 Intel Macbook Pro to 2021 M1 Macbook Pro a few days ago. XLD worked perfectly on my previous Mac.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is an AAC file created in the designated output folder.

Instead I see the conversion progress bar appear to get to 100% and then the message "Error has occured in the decoder" appears on the progress window.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
XLD Version 20211018 (154.0)
OS MacOS 12.1 on M1 Mac.

Please provide any additional information.
I downloaded all of the plugin bundles into the plugins folder and restarted my Macbook. No change in behavior.
I tried removing all of the bundles, still no change.
I tried converting to FLAC as well, no change.

Could it be an issue with the decoding tool? I am not sure which it uses I have LAME 64bits version 3.100 installed, and ffmpeg 4.4.1.

Additional info:
I was able to convert the same mp3 file to AAC using an application called Mediahuman Audio Converter.
I uninstalled, rebooted my macbook and reinstalled XLD ( same version). No change in the decode error.

I get the same error too. Doesn't matter what file type I convert to. I have to use mediahuman, "re-do" the flac file (XLD can't read the flac file for some reason, but mediahuman can).

Once have the "new flac" from mediahuman, XLD will read the file fine and make whatever conversion I'm trying to make.

Why can mediahuman read and change the flac file but XLD can't?

I guess the file is partially broken.
