    Our Web application's prestentation is all based on Velocity templates and as such we dont use any JSP. How do I go about using xkins with Velocity? I dont want to convert to JSP as we have close to 100 velocity templates for our presentation. How can I integrate XKINS with my existing framework Struts + Velocity.

      In fact, actually you couldn't use Xkins just like you use it in JSP. In JSP world, you use Xkins through taglibs. In Velocity world, you should have some kind of Velocity Tool (or something like that) in order to use Xkins in the same way you do in JSP.

      But you could use Xkins to organize your Velocity pages:
      in the Definition.xml file, the templates could be declared as follows:
      <skin name="A">
      <template name="field">
      <content url="/pageX.vm"/>

      This pageX is delivered in skin A. In skin b it could be other page.

      I know it's not a good Xkin usage, but actually is what it supports in Velocity world. It would be wonderful if you are interested in creating a Velocity Tool in order to use Xkins in Velocity Pages. Let me know if you are interested and I can support you.
