Hello. Let me specify hat I exactly mean. Let's say we have a DVD with few audio tracks and several subtitles. Now the only thing gxine shows is hard-coded 10 subtitles with numbers, and numbers of audio channels. Choosing the desired audio track is just the matter of time, but choosing subtitle above 9 is not that easy, or even impossible. I know it is possible to use DVD menu & dvdnav, but for my Pelican Brief DVD it just does not work. gmplayer behaves much better when it comes to this problem: it lists only available tracks/subtitles, along with their names. It's gui uses gtk2, so adding similar feature to gxine should be possible. Regards, JS |

My memory must be failing me, some time ago I used xine-ui and thought it was doing similar thing to mplayer. So it seems it is rather a xine-lib RFE. As for gtk2, it seems it has nothing to do with this. Maybe just the possibility to change the content of the menus. |

It is enough for me= , as Polish subtitles are number 10. |
