I have a particular MP3 file (I can send it on request) that crashes
xine repeatably with a floating-point exception, both in gxine and using
amarok. The same file plays fine in mplayer, xmms, and gstreamer. Using
gxine, it seems that xine misidentifies the file as AAC, so perhaps it
is a bug in parsing the headers. I am running Fedora Core 3, using xine
1.1.1, which I built myself from the official tarball. The same bug was
present in 1.1.0 from Freshrpms. My machine is a Pentium D (dual core),
with 2GB RAM, running a 2.6.12 SMP kernel. I am not on this mailing
list, so please CC me on responses.
