I have a file supposedly created by demuxing a BBC-HD transport stream

What I get when I try to display it (Linux x86_64) is a window that is
768x480 (not 1920x1080), which stays black. Xine-ui shows the name of

activity, it quietly switches back to the Xine logo. Xine-lib was
cloned from hg tonight. Xine-ui is 0.99.5. Output of --bug-report is
The above web page references another sample clip as a playback test,
but that one plays fine. Only obvious difference from looking at
verbose logs is that the working one uses DTS instead of the problem
file's AC3. Am I missing something obvious here? Should this be
expected to work?
The problem file is 7G; I can supply a chunk from the front of it if
that's any use.
