implementation of fifo with mp3,mpg files are
supported s am using the xine-lib-1.0.
But the same is not achieved with aac or avi formats,
am using the follwoing mechanish

I want to know wether this can be implemented or not

The problem with fifos is that the data can only be read once, so the
automatic content detection can fail. If you already know you are piping an
AAC file, you will probably be successful when renaming the fifo
to /tmp/pipe.aac, so the xine engine can learn the filetype from the
panic("Oh boy, that early out of memory?");
